Configuration Guide - Saysimple + HubSpot Integration

Set up the Saysimple + HubSpot integration effortlessly to unify all your contacts and WhatsApp Business messages right inside your CRM.

STEP BY STEP

  1. Application configuration


    To proceed with the app setup, make sure you’ve successfully completed the installation process both in HubSpot and Saysimple, and that you have an active subscription.

    Once that’s done, go to the module’s settings panel. If you’re not there yet, you can navigate to by clicking the Marketplace icon > Connected Apps > Saysimple.





    Once you’re in the settings panel, go to the 'API Config' section and click the 'Configure' button on the right.

    In the window that opens, copy the Integration Token.

    Next, go to Saysimple and in the App Marketplace, locate the HubSpot plugin. If you haven’t installed it yet, click the ‘Install’ button. Then, click the gear icon. Here, paste the Integration Token you copied earlier into the HubSpot Integration Token field.

  2. Creating a Saysimple API Key


    Once you’ve saved the Integration Token, go to the Saysimple Settings (gear icon) and access the Developers section via the Overview button.

    Here, you’ll need to generate an API Key to use in HubSpot.

    To do this, click + Add API Key and a form will appear. Click OK, and an information panel will show your new API Key details, similar to the example below.

    Copy "Your API key" value and return to HubSpot’s API Config settings where you were before. Paste the copied value into the Saysimple section, in the "X Api Key" field.

    Repeat the process: go back to Saysimple and this time copy the "Your API secret" value. Then, return to HubSpot’s API Config and paste it into the Saysimple section, in the "Authorize" field.

    Finally, click "Update Settings" and with this last step, your Saysimple + HubSpot integration will be fully configured.


FAQ

  • What to do if messages are not being logged in HubSpot

If messages aren’t being logged correctly, we recommend checking that the Integration Token is properly configured in the webhooks.

To do this, log in to the Saysimple platform, go to Settings in the left sidebar, then find and open the Developers section.

At the top, you’ll see two tabs: API Keys and Webhooks. In this case, go to the Webhooks tab.

In the list that appears, check the entries with the URL "https://saysimple.tiralineas.digital/api/saysimple-eventhandler". Make sure that the Additional Headers column contains the correct Integration Token.

To find your Integration Token, go to the HubSpot app in the Marketplace, open Settings, and you’ll see the Integration Token there.

If the tokens don’t match, paste your Integration Token inside the quotes so it looks like this:

  • Unable to create contacts in HubSpot from Saysimple / Cannot view HubSpot contact details in Saysimple / Saysimple cannot find existing contacts in HubSpot – How to fix it?

In any of these cases, make sure you have correctly completed these three steps:

  1. Have an active subscription.
  2. Entered the HubSpot Integration Token correctly into the Saysimple HubSpot plugin (as explained in step 1 of this guide).
  3. Properly configured the Saysimple API Keys and entered them into HubSpot (as explained in step 2 of this guide).
